Roberts Irrigation Products Inc. hose and tubing are manufactured from Union Carbide 7500 series "Fingerprint" polyethylene resin and Union Carbide carbon concentrate. These plastic materials produce a hose and tubing with 25% greater elevated temperature burst strength and a far higher thermal stress crack resistance than conventional polyethylene tubing. Inherent in this hose and tubing is a trace chemical, in effect an invisible "Fingerprint", which will identify the type and concentrate of all its ingredients over its life span.
